Abstract

This work proposes Sapatão Museology as a collaborative and horizontal tool to give visibility to lesbian and LGBT women. The approach aims to combat oppressions such as racism, LGBTphobia, and sexism within museological initiatives, aligning with feminist and gender debates. Sapatão Museology connects with other forms of museology, such as LGBT and Feminist, focusing on resistance and empowerment. Through initiatives like virtual exhibitions that exalt memories and confront oppressions, this museology integrates diverse demands and promotes the fight against historical and patriarchal invisibility.
