Abstract

This study explores the relationship between Museology and LGBT social movements through three collaborative exhibitions organized by UFRGS and the nuances group. The exhibitions "Uma Cidade Pelas Margens" (2016), "De Stonewall ao nuances" (2019), and "50 Anos de Ação: de Stonewall ao nuances & TAMBÉM" (2019) highlighted the importance of giving visibility to LGBT narratives in museums, promoting shared curatorships, and encouraging the creation of collections that include historically marginalized memories.

Elisângela Silveira de Assumpção

Graduada em Museologia pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul.

Zita Rosane Possamai, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul

Licenciada (1991), Bacharel (1992), Mestre (1998) e Doutora (2005) em História pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. Atualmente é Professora Titular aposentada da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, exercendo suas atividades como convidada no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Museologia e Patrimônio.
