In this letter, Bruno Novais Dias reflects on the importance of love for "Black Queer" individuals as a political and resistance act against racial, sexual, and gender oppression. The letter discusses the emotional vulnerability caused by racism and homophobia, and the need to create networks of affection and support, such as the concept of "Quilombo of Affections." Additionally, it emphasizes the relevance of self-love, mutual support, and the appreciation of the stories and experiences of Black effeminate individuals as survival and resistance strategies.
