Abstract

The text discusses the intersections between the social movements of people with disabilities and feminist and LGBTI+ movements, emphasizing the need to question the traditional view of the body as a natural given. Using the social model of disability, which sees social barriers as responsible for oppression, it addresses issues of sexuality and gender identity. The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities highlights the sexual and reproductive rights of this group, showing similarities with the violations faced by LGBTI+. The text concludes that integrating the experiences and strategies of both groups is essential for promoting inclusion and respect.
